Quick Cordon Bleu Recipe

I am always on the hunt for good crock pot recipes since my husbands schedule is so sporadic and he does have quite a few late nights. I pinned this recipe a while ago and decided to try it out last night. I can report from my experience that it is incredibly easy and quite yummy! The original recipe came from the six sister stuff.

Ingredients:
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
6 slices deli ham
6 slices Swiss cheese
1 (8 ounce) package herbed dry bread stuffing mix
1/4 cup butter, melted

1.  Mix together the cream of chicken soup and milk in a small bowl.

2. Pour just enough of the soup into a slow cooker to cover the bottom.

3. Layer chicken breasts over the sauce.  Cover with slices of ham and then Swiss cheese.

4. Pour the remaining soup over the layers, stirring a little to distribute between layers.

5. Sprinkle the stuffing on top, and drizzle butter over stuffing.

6.  Cover, and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or high for 2-3 hours.

Along side of the chicken I served green beans, and pan fried potatoes.

Also, if you are in the market for a good crock pot I order this one from amazon. I saw the great use my friend Jana got out of hers and purchased one myself and I love the diversity of three different sizes and I have never had any problems with it. LOVE it!
